Hi Ken and CV,

Yeah, "The Office" is definitely what they call "cringe humor" and it does take a few episodes to get into it. I never missed an episode once I got into it. The US version, which Ricky Gervais, the creator writer supervises, while not quite as good, is still addictive.

I just watched Ricky Gervais in his HBO special this weekend. It's very funny but even more awkward than the stuff on The Office.

Ha, ha. Or maybe the US version has run too many seasons and the writers are having trouble coming up with ideas. It's been quite inconsistent this season. The Brit version ran only a couple of seasons.
