Yep, I call that little kitty "White Devil". Found him outside all dirty and famished a few weeks ago. I like cranking up the volume and finding a confused look on his face. He seems to really love the Axioms.

Looks great, serves to get your TV up to a good height, very nice.
Your only problem may be that your cat looks like it is trying to decide if its a new scratching post.

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

Looks real nice Demetrios, our cats also seem to like it when I crank the volume.

I finally had the time to flip the sub 180deg and responce was not as favorable as corner firing set up. Seems like less output and boom. I didn't re-run Audyssey while sub was flipped though.

I did re-run Audyssey with a lower gain setting on the sub and achieved a -3dB setting. Depending on the source signal the sub produces a huge impact on the system. I know my neighbors have been pissed lately. Another thing I noticed was a dramatic difference of improved SQ with the EQ turned off. Audyssey seemed to be good for speaker set up and distances. More fun later.

Great job Demetrios. That system's gonna rock the neighbours for years to come!
Since your speakers, audio equipment, HDTV & it's stand (good job by the way) are black, have you considered painting the beechwood coloured cabinet black as well?

Thanks for the kind words everyone. This project has been a lot of fun and the expert advice from the forum is much appreciated. I couldn't be more happy with my first HT project. The sound of the M60's amaze me with music reproduction. Just like all other Axiom owners I'm listening to all my CD's in a different way.

MG3, yes I am using a 40" Sony XBR-4 which I am extremelly happy with. I also purchased a 5yr extended warranty for in home service after a 46" Toshiba plasma bit the dust one month after it's 1yr warranty.

80's Man, the beachwood stand is a cheapy from Ikea so I have no plans to paint it. I'm pretty sure my wife will be sending me to the basement with all my audio equipment when a child is planned. I'll grab a new stand for my equipment when that time comes. Is it possible to paint over laminated particle board?

I beleive the Ikea products are a wood laminate, so a quick sanding and paint away.
