Just watched the Skeleton Key on HD DVD. Pretty good movie I thought... Metacritic only gave it a 47 though. I find that I must have completely different taste than most movie reviewers... either that or they are all idiots.

Anyway, Kate Hudson actually was pretty good looking in the movie too...

I like all of the Bourne movies a lot. I like their style of filming the martial arts action (and how they make Bourne into an ueber bad-a$$)

Yeah, I was dumb and gave my Bourne HD DVDs to my sister. Now I have to wait until the Blu-rays come out to watch them again.

Last night it was Kung Fu Panda on Blu-ray. Visually stunning - could definitely be a demo disc. Good workout for the sub, too, with all the impacts. I was more pleased with this than I expected. A nice surprise.

Tonight it was the season finale of Dexter on Showtime HD. I love that show.

Overall I also preferred the 1st season but would have been let down if I hadn’t seen the second.

I can’t remember if you said whether you’ve seen “Death Note.” According to Netflix disk 8 is due out on 30 December.

I haven't seen it. Another one to check out? I think I'll go ahead and join Netflix soon. \:D

I thinks it’s one of the most intelligent and suspenseful series I’ve seen anime or otherwise. I think it’s suppose to be a total to 10 disks with the last two coming out by Spring. Like many series I think it is starting to lose a step toward the end but so far it’s been stellar.

This is not your typical action or fanservice anime it’s both cerebral and suspenseful with much of what’s happening being narrated by the internal dialogue of the main characters and their interaction. Didn’t really sound appealing to me but when I was in Guam last year the first disk was one of the only interesting series I could find. It started off a little slow building the story but I was intrigued enough to order the rest when I got back. I don’t remember at what point it happened but suddenly I realized it’s 3:00 am and I’m popping in the next disk because I’ve got to know what happens next.

WARNING: If you plan to watch it whatever you do don’t read any spoilers.

Thanks. I'll be careful not to read too much about it. It sounds like one I'll enjoy.
