Rodrigo y Gabriela - Live in Japan

I figured enough of you would be interested in this release.

Picked it up and listened to it today. Haven’t watched the DVD but it looks like the same one that came with the other CD.

I liked the Live in Japan DVD a lot more than the one that came with their self-titled album. The video quality (including camera shots) is a lot better, and the sound quality is an improvement, too. I wish they'd release a Blu-ray already.

Finally got a chance to watch/listen to the “Live in Japan DVD.” I agree that it looks and sounds better. On odd thing I noticed was that for me the stereo track sounded better than the 5.1 which is usually not the case for me. I seemed like on the DVD the soundstage just collapsed to the center speaker while on the stereo the imaging matched their positions on the stage. I double checked my settings and everything was set properly. I’ve only noticed a few 5.1 tracks like that and almost always concert DVD-As.

I'll have to try to stereo track. I was happy with the 5.1 track, so I didn't bother to try the stereo.
