I have an audio addiction...first time that I bought Axiom so I am excited to see what's up

just ordered an EP350...have a 13' x 23' room with 7'6" ceiling height in basement with carpet

Currently have a couple of 10" Rocket subs-- really musical but they are DOA, so not happy at all...they will be fixed and moved elsewhere.

Have lots of gear but limited sub experience.

run Totem/ Emotiva HT in bedroom and Arcam/Totem HT in living room - 1 with Totem 8" sub/ other no sub yet

Basement HT room I have Outlaw 990/ Emotiva amps, Onix Strata Mini fronts (these have integrated 8' mid-subs) and Onix Ref 1.5 rears..nice system - we have young family so subs can't go that loud....will I be happy with dual EP350 long term (Say 5+ years) or is it worth working towards dual EP500? Will I hear the difference - can't listen loud for awhile yet \:\) - babies waking up is not a good thing...I realize that subs going to 16Mhz are good but will the average listener appreciate this?

Any thoughts are appreciated...

Basement HT room? I'd go for the biggest one. \:\) (which i did , and i live in an attached apartment..) I got it, tho, to future proof for a move. For now I keep the knob turned down a bit, but this thing can create shockwaves that you can physically feel in your chest. The sound is like a low end void, with no rattle. (except when i hear the walls of my place shift)

It's glorious. AND... for the youngsters... the Pixar films on Blu-Ray will make your sub do naughty, naughty things to your ears.

Some people notice the lower extension more than others. I find I notice the lower extension, especially with HT, more so than I do for music, so if this is more for HT, then I would say the dual 500's is the way to go, if more music oriented then you can save some money and go the dual 350 route.

Yes, I always think more power is a good thing, just for those times when you really want to let things loose. If you can afford the 500 then you really have no good reason not to get it.
