Examples of KazoosThe kazoo is a device fitted that adds a "buzzing" timbral quality to a player's voice when one vocalizes into it. The kazoo is a type of mirliton - a device which modifies the sound of a person's voice by way of a vibrating membrane. A kazoo-tight is the method of playing the kazoo tightly while marching in a band and has nothing to do with Guzootight, which is an accepted way to excuse a sneeze. Not sure what old Lion Face was talking about - or aboat!

How do you spell the Canadian form of about? It can't be "about", I know how to say that. I always thing they are saying something about a "a-boat". Never mind...

You know I'm not sure what province that pronunciation is really used in. I can't recall ever truly hearing it except in jokes and commercials. I have visited them all except the Territories. I think this should clear things up for you  I Am Canadian
