Wouldn't count on the quality of the conversion being particularly high, though.

Here is a link to the manual, the specs look pretty good. Vish, your room is quite large so I can see why you may want to look at a seperate amp. You could also look at just selling the Denon and going for a full separate system.

I didn't know there would be a harmonic distortion figure (though small) when attenuating a signal in a device of that type. But... what do I know?
