I got notification today as well. Estimated delivery of two EP800's this Friday (I'm on the road now, so I won't be able to try em out till a week later) (ARRRGH!)

FedEx changed the estimate to a day earlier, Monday the 2nd. It's actually the day that my former coworker guessed it would come. She guessed a couple of weeks ago. I don't know why she always ends up being right about stuff like this.

Mine will be vertical, though there is really no meaningful difference in most cases if you want to lay it on its side after ordering the vertical version.
The main difference is where the holes are drilled to screw in the feet. Since I don't use feet/spikes/etc. either way, for me it's not a big difference.
