Watched Read or Die (ROD) earlier. It’s sort of a cross between “Ghost in the Shell” and “The Librarian” Good characters, music, animation and interesting premise but way to rushed. This should have been at least a whole season of episodes and not just a 3 part OVA.

My Name Is Bruce

Not so great unless you're a fan of Bruce Campbell, but worth it if you are. He has some pretty good lines.

I finally got around to watching Zodiac. I liked it a lot. It was nice to see "Lyle the Intern" from Letterman in it.

Been watching a mildly entertaining bitch-slapping contest between Craigsub and a couple former “friends” on the AVS channel. I hope AV123 pulls things together, however, I must admit to some schadenfreude over this when I notice the ever increasing silence of some of the worst of the fanboys.

Uncharacteristically the Mods haven’t stepped in and put the smack-down on anyone yet

P.S. Spoke to soon. The ref stopped the fight. AFAIK no blood was drawn but I think there were a few broken nails.

Well off to TCA for the locker room report.

Yeah, I thought it was a well-told story. I don't know how accurate all of the details are, but I'm impressed either way, I suppose.

I just watched the first episode of Important Things with Demetri Martin. It was as good as I thought it would be.

Charles if you research the Zodiac killer you'll find that the story is pretty darn accurate ... although very good indications points to Arthur Leigh Allen as being the prime suspect but there was no conclusive evidence to tie him to the killings as of yet. Wild.

I may have to read a book. It was certainly engaging in movie form.

Yes it's hard for me to accept after all this time and effort, (including the well produced Zodiac movie), that no one knows the truth of what transpired. Astrology now!

Watching the Changeling, 1st 15 minutes, so far I can't believe how well AJ recalls the era, for a million years her bee sting lip smirk (including Oscar award) renditions have left me worse than cold, hope the vibe continues. This recalls reality, once upon a time, or is it fantasy. Hallelujah!, as my daughter is wont to exclaim (sorry, small town utterance)!

Ratatouille

I had a former coworker and her friend (and now current coworker) over for ice cream and to watch a movie. They picked this one. I didn't tell them I'd just watched it within the last week or two, since I actually did feel like watching it again. I'm actually liking it more each time I watch it. It may actually be my favorite Pixar movie now, even over The Incredibles.
