Not at all. She wasn't my cup of tea, but other people here seem to do more than sip her.

No, it's the grumpy old men who really have a thing for her.

I watched her segment on "The Hour" just the other day. Nothing particularly Earth shattering, but I found the bit about her writing to Oscar Peterson at age 16 kind of interesting. It showed her real passion for what she wanted to do.

If it was real passion, she would have sold her soul to the Devil. Or is letter-writing the first step toward that?

Somehow I don't see someone motivated enough to organize her own jazz groups while in high school, and not seeing herself as a singer, going the Britney route.

Thank goodness.

I just thought I should mention some items that I really liked that have dropped in price on Amazon.com.

Death Note Box Set 1 - $34.99

Death Note Box Set 2 - $33.49

Fullmetal Alchemist Season One Box Set - $34.99

Fullmetal Alchemist Season Two Box Set - $34.99

Louis C.K.: One Night Stand - $6.49

Louis C.K.: Shameless - $8.49

I had been waiting for the Fullmetal Alchemist box sets to drop in price for a while, so I could get my sister copies. It works out well, since it's almost her birthday. I paid a good deal more for the Louis C.K. DVDs. If you happened to be waiting for good deals on any of those items, there you go.

I don't know how good these deals are, but I've been looking to get in on the Battlestar Galactica thing. I see Best Buy has the first few seasons on sale for $26.99 each. I was at Target today and saw that they had a package deal for seasons 2.0 and 2.5 for $34.99.

Those seem like good prices. I imagine I'll end up with the Blu-rays. I'm crossing my fingers that there will be a decent price on the set somewhere.
