I apologize to the OP for the hijack.

I’m armed and I’m drinking. You don’t want to listen to advice from me, amigo.

This wouldn't BE the Axiom forum without a hijack....especially involving food.

I've come to the conclusion that all of you are just skinny, hungry people.

Prolly too late but your local Home Depot or equivalent probably carries 12 gauge speaker wire.

I've seen 14 gauge just about everywhere, Walmart, HD, Princess Auto, Rona(I think) ect, but 12 gauge is a little harder to find.

Home Depot, bulk sections. Where they likely have a giant rotating rack of wire reels, not the actual speaker wire section.

However, if you can wait, most of the other choices mentioned above are much easier to work with. The Home Depot stuff is super stiff and is so hard and brittle at the ends, you might want to wear gloves when your working with it. Fine for runs you won't be playing with again for a long time.
