It looks exactly the same as the old one. I guess they changed the new ones around a bit. I hooked it up and she is purring like a kitten.

I've got to say, after the sub quit on me, and four years of solid use, I figured I was going to have to spend the money on a new one. Its nice to know that Axiom really stands behind their stuff this long down the road. I'm a customer for life!

um, I forgot my settings. Whats the recommended setting for the flat knob, remote knob, cross over (i think i used 80)? My other speakers are the 150 center, two floor standing 50's, two M2s as surrounds and a Q4 in the center rear. I'm pushing them with a Yamaha receiver. Thanks in advance for your help.

A good starting point is to set the subwoofer to YES or ON and speakers set to small in your receivers menu settings. Set the crossover in your receiver to 80 as well.

If you do not have an SPL, they are an excellent investment for calibrating your speakers and subwoofer. It is my favorite gadget along with my rechargable battery kit.

On the subwoofer itself set the crossver to max (to disable the crossover on the sub since you are using the receivers bass management).
