Did you say Timshift?

Heh. When I was in college I made the shell of a game with that name as a project in a computer animation class I was taking.

You can look and laugh at it here.

I don't remember my high score, but I got pretty good at it.

I just started to play it last week, it is actually fun. My next goal is 10 mil.

I’m armed and I’m drinking. You don’t want to listen to advice from me, amigo.

That actually looked pretty nice Peter. When you said shell, I expected to see wireframes jumping around a crayola colored space.

I still have the interactive version -- only about 4 "rooms" -- on my home computer somewhere. It used QuickTime VR for 360° pannable panoramas and clickable hot-spots to move to other areas.

Speaking of E3, the games I'm most looking forward to are (most don't have official sites--or much on them if they do, but a Google of any title will give you more info than you ever wanted):

Final Fantasy XIII - looks beautiful, and while I like the darker Altus RPG series, Final Fantasies are always a fun timesink

Final Fantasy XIV - I'll at least give it a shot. I'm not a very social person, this forum is my largest interaction with other people, but Square has said there'll be more soloable content in this one

Heavy Rain - I was always a huge fan of the Sierra and Lucas Arts quest games, this is pretty much a modern take on the genre

The Last Guardian - Ico is one of my favorite games of all time, and I've picked up Shadow of the Colossus again, trying to get through it this time

Pioneer PDP-5020FD, Marantz SR6011
Axiom M5HP, VP160HP, QS8
Sony PS4, surround backs

I've been 'trapped' playing Broken Sword on my DS. Apparently, it's port of an older game but for some reason, it's eaten about 7 hours of my life during the past few weeks...

Heavy Rain looks like an interesting concept. I'll be waiting for that one. In the mean time, you've reminded me that I can play PS2 games on my PS3 for cheap. Of course, it is also coming into Summer and the odds are I won't use it much.

7 hours over a few weeks isn't that bad. Bad is when your wife starts walking around naked to get your attention and you fail to notice.

At least she hasn't gone so far as to wear another woman.
