Wow, GTO got really good at the end. I'm kind of surprised how serious it became.

The first few episodes of Shakugan no Shana. It's off to a fairly promising start. I'm interested in seeing where it takes the idea.

Please update as you watch more. I just finally got disk 2 from Amazon but have such a huge backlog of stuff to watch it would help to know if I should move this up the list.

I just watched the first two episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist trying to decide if I should watch the whole thing right away. Turns out I had already seen parts of both episodes on Adult Swim but thought that they were somewhere in the middle of the story. Seems interesting so far though the main character is a little cocky for my taste so far.

Ha ha, yeah, he is. I need to re-watch that series sometime soon. I really loved how the story kept expanding.

And yeah, I'll let you know on Shana.

Building? Well they sure have set the bar high to build from on the first episodes. I like the way it jumped right in and then started to work the history in as they went. A fresh break from the usual early episode character building.

One thing I do like so far about Fullmetal Alchemist is how the first 2 episodes formed one story arc. I hope the whole series stays like that since it’s much easier to watch in bite-size pieces that way. I’m already in-the-middle-of to many different series now and will probably want to jump right to all the 16x9 5.1 stuff as soon as I get the projector. Gotta love life when your toughest decision is what to watch, play or listen to.

Man, Katherine Heigl and Letterman had a lot of fun with each other tonight. She's so cute.

Has anyone else seen the movie "Wanted"? I'm into the first hour and I'm quite enjoying it; great sound, highly recommended.

Edit - I just read this review which gives it flying colors in the video and especially audio department.

I saw it on dvd. Way to silly to be taken serious...despite that, I thought it was an enjoyable film.

Are you watching it on Bluray? I bet it looks incredible.

I thought so. I'll have to watch it again. ;\)

The office scene at the beginning was a hoot...
Warning, Spoiler:
when he told his boss to f-off, and then smacked his friend in the mouth with the keyboard.
