Nick,

If only these things were won on talent alone. Like many things in life, if you don't stack the deck, your chances of winning are significantly less. If your daughter doesn't win, it's because someone else had a bigger voting army (legitimate or not) than you were able to amass.

Sorry, that was a typo not a math error. I originally put in an equation but thought looked it condescending so I highlighted and typed over and that's somehow what I ended up with. A mistake is mistake, in any case. I was rushing and thinking more about abusing the AVS and not watching what I was doing.

We thought you were taking the different time zones into account.

Yeah, I have access to unlimited email accounts, and thus unlimited registered (but fake) users for the voting site, but I hate to feel pressured into doing something like that just because I fear that someone else is doing it.

We'll see what happens. If everyone just keeps things legit, it will be a good contest, but I fear that some people will do anything to win. Heck, I was trying to do everything I could to get real voters, so if others didn't have that mass number, I am sure that they looked at other options, and the only other thing that they could do would be set up bogus ones.

I guess it is just human nature to want to win, and I am fine with that.

Very true; it's like judging a quadriplegic on their walking skills.

The good news is that the other entrants that are closest to your daughter are also talented, so at least it looks like you won't be beaten out by an unskilled singer with a large fan club.

Thanks everyone. It keeps flip-flopping between her and Johnny for the lead, so every vote DOES count!

Voted again, how do you check to see the amount of votes for each contestant?
