I've still only watched it once. I should give it another try sometime. I'm not sure I really like Lars von Trier's sensibilities, and I also kind of hate David Morse, but Catherine Deneuve is cool, and of course I'm a big Björk fan. Peter Stormare can be entertaining as well.

I think you're always supposed to hate David Morse.

This is the only Lars von Trier film I like. I bought Antichrist by a big mistake. But Dancer is a masterpiece.

Trying to finish up season two of Breaking Bad so I can start working on part three of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and after that I have The Norm Show to watch.

So I finally got around to watching Valkyrie last night. Much like the reviews I'd read about the movie, I have to agree on the main slag against it which is the lack of either German or German-sounding actors in the movie. The whole story here is about how the GERMANS wanted to assassinate another GERMAN(well, Austrian) so the movie stumbles with a bunch of what appear to be traditionally British trained actors. Where was the Nazi arrogance? the Nazi brutality? it was in fact, well acted and an excellent story to be told with some great opening effects where the allied planes attack, but this good movie could have been a VERY good movie if the Nazi threat was more "genuine".

I watched a bit of Aquarion on Youtube last night. That is a strange but also interesting series.

I ended up liking Aquarion more than I expected based on the reviews probably because of all the character interaction.

The Expendables

I wasn't expecting much, and it met expectations. No reason to care about any of the characters, and the action was nothing special.

Other than that, I watched the first episode of The Norm Show, which I just got on DVD. Norm Macdonald is such a dork. Ha ha.
