I mean, I know that it doesn't sound right and all that, but is there a particular thing you would play to tell? My left Audiobyte was making some ticking noises on one of the tracks I was listening to today; I'm not sure if it was the track or the speaker.

Hmm. Switch the L/R and see if the clicking follows the speaker or the channel. If it stays, it's the driver.

Or listen to the same track on the computer speakers or headphones to confirm.

That would be too easy. Plus I need to figure out which track it was... Hmm.

I was just wondering if there was any track or sound that one might use to test it.

Funny you should mention this, but I had some staticky ticking and clicking noises start up all of a sudden out of my tweeters last night. Initially, I thought I may have fried the tweeters, but seeing that the noises were coming from the left and right speakers, I'm thinking I have signal interference issues somewhere. Will see later on tonight when I can get to it.

Yes there is. It would be a track that you are very familiar with, one you have heard numerous times that you know these strange sounds you are talking about do not occur in the recording. If they occur you know something is wrong.

You can also get touchy-feely with the driver but we will leave that till later after you run some other source material through the bytes. Also, playing that same recording(s) through a pair of cans is an excellent idea as well to see if it still occurs.
