i was wondering what is the crossover point on the vp150 center channel. Thanks.

I don't recall that's ever been stated specifically, but other models using the same tweeter and mids(e.g. M22, QS8)have been reported as having a 2,700Hz crossover, so I suspect that the VP150 would be the same.

maybe. If that is thats pretty low for a tweeter. Mean the tweeters must be pretty good.

Acoustically it's not as low as you'd think... to hear a 2700Hz sine wave, I put one up here
WARNING - the sound file is at 0 dBFS - ie: G.D. LOUD, so turn down your speakers.

yeah definately an annoying sound. What i was wondering do you think there would be a huge difference in sound of the center if say the crossover point was at 3500hz?

If he can't, I've got some audio software at home I can use to do it. I can crank out any sine or sawtooth wave you want.

Hi,
JohnK is correct. 2700 Hz (2.7 kHz) is the crossover frequency for the VP150.

Actually, there's a site somewhere I ran across that had a bunch of tones in .WAV format from 20Hz up to 100Hz at a reasonable program level (-12dBFS I think?) If you're really serious about needing tone, I could probably mail out a couple of reference CDs.
