I do wake up a lot at night, but not because of joint noise.

Hilarious. I love how the Fight Club Blu-ray starts up.

It had its fun audio moments. I really liked when they were playing chicken with the big truck, before Tyler lets go of the wheel and lets the car veer off the road. When the truck was passing by, it really felt like a truck was passing by.

Just watched the Blu-ray version of “Serenity.” It’s a noticeable step up in PQ and SQ from the standard version but not as huge a difference as some since the DVD was pretty good already. I didn’t try to access the BD Live since I haven’t hooked my Oppo up to the network yet, but the feature of being able to clip a scene from the movie and send it looks cool.

I liked everything about this movie except the ending fight scene between Mal and the bad guy. Just drags on way to long. I which Whedon had cut that one down and left in some of the deleted scenes.

I watched Serenity about 3 times, and each time it seemed like I was missing something. Googled Serenity and discovered Firefly. I watched Firefly about 5 times. Now it looks I may have to get the blu-ray version of both. I've only had a BD player about a year or less. I hate upgrading my dvds since I have about 300 of them. But if I get the ptae4000u projector, I'll probably have to upgrade the disks I like the most.

Because you liked it so much, or for some other reason?

Originally I caught part of one episode of “Firefly” and didn’t care for it. Later I saw “Serenity” and went out and bought “Firefly” and watched the whole thing in one sitting. Amazing show!

I’m planning to be very selective about what I upgrade. Only the stuff I really like to watch and that shows a marked improvement over the SD version. Ok who am I kidding I also didn’t plan on putting 200 hours on my projector in the first month. For now I’m using strategery and ordering up 3-4 Blu-rays from Netflix each weekend. So far the only ones I’ve bought are: Serenity, Blade Runner, 2001, Close Encounters, Star Trek, The Fifth Element (trend?) and Patton. Everything other Blu-ray I’ve watched has been rented.

Watching some Stihl Timbersports Series in HD. Looks pretty cool with the chips flying in slow motion. \:\)

Wifey and myself are getting ready to play the just received from Amazon.com BR version of Air America ... a replacement for the SD disc that I loaned out and never got back.

Great movie, one of our favorites.
