Steve, did your replacement amp come with detailed instructions on installing it? I just want to know if I need to be requesting some instructions via email or not.

If it's anything like my EP350 amp, I can't imagine there would be many instructions involved.

No, I suppose there wouldn't be many, but I always feel better following something specific, especially on expensive gear like the EP800s.

In this case you will need instructions (they do come with them) because the new amp will require you to rewire the speaker. The old amp, as well as both of your drivers, will have to be removed. It took me about 45 mins to do the replacement.
Brent just said my 2nd one shipped out yesterday!!!

Great news Steve! Charles, Axiom does send out instructions that are easy to follow. One thing I would suggest is that you remove the amp and both woofers first before doing anything about re-install. The instructions said to remove the amp and install the new one before going to the woofers. I did that but then the woofers were a pain in the ass to remove. I had to take the amp out again and push the woofer from the inside. Your situation may be different so disregard this note if it does not apply to you. By the way, I think you will be impressed with the new amp.

Thanks for the tip, Mel.
Steve, I'm glad your 2nd one is on its way. I'm pretty excited about trying this out.

Well, it looks like I may actually get them on Monday. They're already in Spokane, Washington.

So by Monday evening we can expect a full report / review? Those of us that live vicariously through you would appreciate it!
