I think it would be pretty rare that the best place to put your subs for the best and smoothest bass would be the same place your mains would sound the best.

i have calibrated the room, and also placed the mains the best that "I" could. they are about 18" off of the wall, and both are at the same angle to my listening position.


right now the ep-600 is by one of the mains, due to that being the best place at the moment for it. It works pretty good there. I don't remember exactly where my cross overs are set to, but i am pretty sure that they are set to 80hz.. i will have to look that up, to verify.
