I am planning the layout of a full wall unit to consist of a 50" HDTV, M22ti, and VP150. I need to finalize the position of the speakers during the design phase (one of many compromises that has to be made).

I am looking for recommendations on speaker heights. Current plan:

HDTV on shelf 16" from floor
M22ti on shelf 16" from floor on either side of the HDTV
VP150 on a shelf above the HDTV, approx 64"

One recommendation is for the L/C/R tweeters to be horizontally aligned, and another for the tweeters to be aligned at ear level. These recommendations conflict for my arrangement with ear level about 42" high, and seating position about 8' back.

Would raising the height of the M22ti be better, or are there any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I have the same screen size and speakers for the L/C/R. In my room and seating positions it was critical that the tweeters were aligned and at ear level. With that I still had to use a door wedge to tilt the VP150 down toward the seating area...Flexibility is key. Just my $.02
