The issue I have with the 'Where The Light Is' disc is that John seems to have an issue with keeping his arrogant yap shut between songs ... every time I watch it (not often) I keep finding myself thinking, 'would you just e'ffing sing?'

Musically it is a great disc, unfortunately there is too much non-musical nonsense.

Can you tell I've turned into a not so great fan. \:\)

I like older John Mayer, especially Continuum, but haven't heard good things at all about this last release.

Fully agree, he is a self indulgent 15 year old....

I don't have anything by him, but what I've listed to on the internet I wasn't impressed with. I keep wondering why all the interest in John Mayer.

Adrian: My used CD store manager says that the most bin space is taken up by artists with the deepest catalogs who've been around for decades. That makes sense. Aside from that, she says that the most frequently turned-in-for-resale artist is.................................
Dave Matthews!

Oh, and re: John Mayer's heavy attention. If you had been sleeping with Jennifer Aniston, you'd have gotten lots of extra attention, too!
