I really love these M50s. For those who have compared the M50s to the M60s and chose the latter, those M60s must be truly remarkable speakers. The M50s are great. I am thinking about upgrading the Merak center channel speaker (which I like very much) with the VP150. I'll fight the impulse for as long as possible.
BTW, I really like the Toshiba SD9200 DVD-A player I'm using for both music and home theater in my HT system. Highly recommend it.

Like you, I tried to resist....
Just got my VP150 2 days ago! After one night of listening, it's already been worth the upgrade. Don't know how nice your Merak sounds though compared to my previous cheap center channel, so the upgrade might not be as big a leap as it was for me!
