J.P.'s South Beach diet continues for the fourth day. Having purged myself of carbohydrates, I am thirstier and drinking more water. Haven't had a soda in a week. Occasional tea or coffee with Equal.

*sigh, no Starbucks, no donuts, no Olive Garden*

I brought lean chicken in case the drug rep brings carbs for lunch.

Cool. Then you can smother your chicken with them.

I'll take you at your word, especially since, true to form, today's drug rep lunch was ... Olive Garden. I only ate the salad, no dressing, no croûtons. I skipped the chicken fettuccine and ate my baked chicken from home.

Now for more tea. It's Twinings English Afternoon this time.

I just got back from a drug rep lunch at my wife's office.. some Italian place, pretty good fettuccine. They were pushing a drug right up JP's alley, Cymbalta (duloxetine)used for depression and nerve pain in diabetics.

Ah, Eli Lilly strikes again. Our Cymbalta rep is so hyper that he gets annoying real quick. Hi (your name) if you're reading this. I won't put your name in lest Google send you here one day. Boy, would that be embarrassing!

Even Michael gets drug rep lunches!

I'm serious, JP. That's awesome.
