I was married, once...that was one upgrade that I don't care to repeat, since the cost was way to high for what I eventually received.

It works for some, and not for others...
however, like the prospectus says "past performance is no guarantee of future returns".

the best way to avoid ever having upgradeitis with Axiom is buying M80's, EP350, QS8's and a VP150

Not true. If you buy an Axiom sub, you'll always wonder about Hsu or SVS.

Actually i bought an Axiom sub and i refused to buy SVS or Hsu based on their limited finish choices.
I have no doubt they play good bass but certainly never doubted my purchase of the EP350.
Hopefully in the next month or two i will finally have a chance to put these 2 subs head to head.

Actually, SVS does have different finishes. Go to this page:

I still agree, If I could afford the EP350, I would probably have gotten it. But my Velodyne was half the price of the 350 and has the same frequency response. I would love my sub to match my maple speakers and furniture, the black sticks out like a sore thumb.
