Simple question. Are the LCD TV's that are out in stores now the same as LCos? I'm unsure as to whether todays Liquid Cyrstal Display is the same as Liquid Crystal on Silicon, or if this is something new coming out that has not hit stores yet (at least not the Best Buy I was in today). I'm just trying to make sure I have my new formats straight. They did have one DLP by Samsung, and of course the many plasma, LCD, etc offerings.

No, Jason, LCoS isn't the same and isn't brand-new either, but advancements in that area, especially much lower-cost chips for it from Intel, might even make me upgrade my 12" Philco in about a year, as I previously told Ken.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.
