There is a lot of small red containers on the photos, was it the new custom wood sample for the speakers?

Of those who participated in the blind listening test, can someone tell me what B&W model was up against the M3 V3? Was it the 805?

http://www.audioreview.com/mfr/b-and-w/bookshelf-speakers/nautilus-805/PRD_320651_4290crx.aspx

As I understand it, the B&W was number 1 and the M3 was number 2 in the test. Voting was close with the nod going to Axiom overall. Looking forward to the official, published test results.

Great exercise.

I stil can't get over listening to a live band through 8 M80's!

That was just cool, they really sounded great! I own these speakers, but I was still impressed at how well they handled the bass and kick drum.

The band was excellent too, great guitar playing and very solid bass playing.

Just got back from Dwight. What a Blast!!!!

First off some thanks.

Fisrt to Mark because he had the idea originally.

Next to Ian for allowing it all to happen.

Then to all the folks at Axiom for working so hard to pull it all together so us geeks could have such a great time.

Lastly thanks to Mary for: a) showing up so it wasn't an all male geek-a-thon, b) putting in the effort to organize the shirts.

After this weekend, I think some forum members need to change their screen names.

Bobk should be psycho-bunny: the Mad TV version of the energizer bunny.

Chess: (party) animal. folks, the cute dog avatar is a cover. Who knew.

Alan: Perfesser sidetrack. Alan has had such a varied career and knows so many people in the audio community its impossible to have a linear conversation.

Great pictures everyone! Captures the mood for sure. Am I the only one that thinks Alan looks a tiny bit like Emperor Palpatine? (Oops, was that my outside voice)

Another huge vote of thanks to all the folks at Axiom who made this weekend possible. I wasn't able to stay for all the festivities but from the descriptions so far it sounds like the "trip of a lifetime" for everyone here. The band on the dock with the M80s is probably one of those things everyone read about and felt they would never have a chance to experience - Ian thanks for proving everyone wrong laugh

The seminars were exceptional, with just the right amount of "wandering off topic to cover all the interesting stuff" -- I had read about Andrew joining the company but it didn't really hit me until yesterday how much knowledge and experience he brings to what was already an exceptional company.

It was wonderful being able to meet both forum and Axiom folks in such an open, friendly environment. I'm still amazed and thankful that so many people were able to attend. Sounds like I missed a heck of a party !
