I just watched The Winslow Boy for either my third or fourth time. The picture quality of the DVD is abysmal and the audio is nothing to form a choir over, but I really like the movie.

I remember not liking Jeremy Northam at all after my first exposure to him in The Net. Thankfully, Emma came out, and I got to see how cool he can be. While not my favorite Jane Austen adaptation, my appreciation for him changed completely. I should go out of my way to see more of his stuff.

I also just wanted to reiterate how much I enjoyed the audio on Band of Brothers. The gunfire and explosions throughout are a ton of fun, and there's some really good use of the surround channels. The sounds of the vehicles are nice and overpowering, too. Very well-done, and I would certainly recommend it as a showcase.

Can't wait to get mine! It's in the mail according to Amazon! It would have been great to have this weekend as the neighbors are not there (I'm almost musiked-out... almost!).

Well, I can confirm that WALL•E really does look as amazing as it was definitely going to. I just watched the shorts and the very beginning of the movie, but now I have to switch to Band of Brothers.

Cool, we have a copy but may have to save it for Xmas, since my daughter is already way too spoiled, just like me (no Christmas presents for me).

I finally finished Band of Brothers today. I'm glad I got it. It's a cool miniseries.

The review was supposed to include info on Man-Tears.

No Man-Tears. Maybe some Little Boy-Heart Splutter, though that seems to refer to the actions in the Pacific Theater. I did get a little choked up, but not as much as I usually get. Either I'm turning into a robot, or... I don't know, what else would I be?

No, I'm pretty sure it's the robot thing.
