Yes, it would be easy to dismiss Heath Ledger's award as sympathy. But, I found his performance to be riveting and unlike anything I'd seen before. He scared the crap out of me and, IMHO, deserved the award.

Beautiful lakeside view! Here is one facing down the river that joins into my bay when the entire sky was on fire like the world was coming to an end. I wished I would have had a fisheye lens or something that could better display that the entire sky from west to east was lit up in fiery orange.

Another beautiful picture!
I took my daughter to see Cats tonight (Christmas present to her). I am not a big fan of musicals, but this is a very impressive production!

Thanks. No skill involved. I just took a bunch of shots and pointed at different places on the horizon, holding the clicky half down before I returned to center, in order to get a bunch different effects from the automatic sensors.
Inject enough chaos and you can eventually find perfection.
