I really want these. My wife is a little concerned about the price.

They make boots for Sporting Clays (referring to the page title) ?

They do look mighty nice though.

I have to agree with Mrs. Lampshade after looking at the price.

That looks to be a nice boot but I am a little concerned about that price too. I know I couldn't justify that kind of money on boots I wore all the time let alone once in awhile.

Didn't you guys notice that there is leather on the inside? And I figure they should last me ten years. And I have to be ready for this event

and other outdoorsy stuff.

I got into trouble when I told Mrs. Lampshade that if the word Coach was stamped on the side then she would be all for me getting them.

And here I just wear either Merrell hikers or a pair of WELL mink-oiled green triangles depending on the weather of the clays course.

I guess I'm going to have to buy something other than my black suede shoes that I wear everyday. They are waterproofed, btw.

And if you find a white one, you can start a new religion. Lemme know.

As for the booties, I'll bet you could find something similar for a lot less, like @ DSW. They may be pink or yellow, and you'll have to go to the drag queen section to find your size, but then you won't get hit by a snowplow.

I've had a pair of Sorels for 20 years now. I bought them when I was on the "snow team" for the local hospital.

If these ever need replacing, I'd buy another pair of Sorels.
