I have a chance to purchase a pair of Bang & Olufsen main speakers, circa late 1970's at a friends moving sale. I haven't seen them, but I know they have been well maintained, are approximately 4 feet tall and have been known to get really loud. Are these worth my consideration?

I have owned some B&O equipment and found that B&O stuff looks great but none of it sounded very good.

Third.
But if you're getting them for $50 then go ahead. But you will just want them in the garage for when you wash the car. Too bad their stuff looks so cool. They used to have a lot of funky connectors though so not easy to own.
