Most of the reason I posted this is that I thought it was very funny that it was a proprietary screw because it is so very symbolic, particularly if you put an i in front.

Which could also be the motive in reducing service on ineligible devices.

Its typical of anything Apple. No surprises here. However, it is not the first proprietary screw, but its function is crap.

I would think a small Torx bit would work on those, depending on how tight they are.
