I dont get any LFE on the subwoofer after I do an MCACC on pioneer elite 53tx.
During the process of MCACC i can hear the signal on the SUB quiet well, but once the MCACC is over, I dont hear any when playing DVD or CDs.
I reset the reciever and played the same CD, i could hear enough LFE on the SUB. Whats wrong, I am kinda desperate. Appreciate any help.

Sub - HSU STF1 [ tried both out/in phase and had the volume increased to max. The default crossover is 80Hz]

Go to surround menu
1) Check in the Quick menu and confirm that subwoofer says yes.
2) Check in the Normal menu and go to speaker setting. W/ M22's the front should be set to small and subwoofer should say yes.

It's possible you are set to large. If so, then some of the bass is actually sent to the fronts.

For my VTF2, I only have it turned to 1/4 (just about 8 o'clock, maybe 9). You shouldn't have to turn it higher, unless you want it boomy. The MCACC should adjust it accordingly.

bingo....thnx for the tip. watched lion king and the sub rocked after i set the fronts to small. Love my system man....the sound envolope is amazing, not missing a sound in the track....its magic

i have been listening to the CDs in multi channel sorround, mind blowing man....wifey got hooked too....

i was flipping thro the manual and i figured out that the SUB has to be set to PLUS when the fronts are large, this will ensure that LFEs are routed to the SUB. Did ya try this setting?

Lion king was too good. QS8s proved their worth...

am kinda learning to tune the system and once i get the sound I like, General Maximus will be summoned to entertain me, and when iam done with him, i will enter the matrix....

....and the journey has only begun!!!
