Another one of "those" questions!

I got my first Axioms last year around this time. So technically V2 in/on walls. L/R-M22s, Centers V100 & V150, SS/SB QS8s.

I recently purchased in/on M22s for wides, and QS8s for heights.

Does any one have thoughts on switching out the L/R Fronts V2s for the new V3s and moving the version 2s to the wides?

Probably no perceivable difference, but thought I'd ask for your thoughts.

Also has anyone tried to replace the old badge with the new?

All 3 sets of QS8s, the V100 and the new M22s have the silver badge. So just the old M22s and the V150 have the "black" badge. They need to be the same. Probably would need to buy a new grill for the V150?

Thanks

Jeff

I could tell no difference between my early QS8v2s and new QS8v3s, or my mid age M22v2s and new M2v3 save the lower bass extension of the M22s. However, YMMV.

As for the badges just pull them all off an they will look the same. wink

I say that because I’ve knocked them off all my M80s and EP500 by hitting them with my foot or the vacuum cleaner.

Well now I had to go look at the EP500 its sliver too, and I guess I don't vacuum enough!

I'll have to check my new grill on one of my M80s. I know the old one was a black plate with silver raised writing on it, but I didn't really look closely at the new grill.

I took that one out with my foot shortly after getting it because I had my sub dead center in the front of my seating in the middle of the apartment living room. I glued it back on and turned the grill upside down so I wouldn’t do it again. Since then I haven’ bothered to glue the other ones back on though I’ve kept them in a drawer.

Jeff, if it's not much bother(I've never installed inwalls) I'd swap the V3s as your mains and use the V2s as the wides. I'd also call Axiom, maybe they can do something for you reg the badges....
