I read in a post somewhere here cannot find it now, that you can buy Axiom speakers at the warehouse cheaper, but with minor defects. Where is this

At the top of any page here on the web site, in the small horizontal menu just under the Axiom logo, click on "Store." On the next page, look for the green band just under the photos of all the speakers. Click on "Factory Outlet." Viola!

As you look at the outlet price list, keep the following in mind.
1) If you order 5 pieces or more (speakers and or other accessories, cables, wire) from regular stock you get a 5% discount and the order gets to you in a couple of days.
2) If you order from the outlet, you get a 10% discount on the speakers without the 5 piece caveat, but you may have to wait some weeks for delivery. The question is - Does 5% make enough of a difference to you to justify the wait?
Also, when I was working with Joe before placing my order, he explained that the 5% discount in item #1 above could become a 10% discount if you waive the 30 day return offer. You must keep the speakers, but you get right now, brand-new speakers at a 10% discount.

Does a set of speakers count as 2 or 1 in your #1?

As Joe explained it to me, each individual piece counts as 1. Hence, a pair of speakers = 2.

I think you are a bit confused. I just got 2 M60s. a VP150 and 2 QS-4s with 5% HT discount and 10% Factory Outlet discount. That is a 15% discount off a $1460 order. $212 dollars is enough to wait 2-3 weeks for.
Search for a recent post by Amie that clarifies.

Interesting. Joe told me (or so I thought) that the 10% outlet price didn't earn the additional 5% for the 5 piece package.
He also expalined that the waiting periods listed on the outlet page were pretty accurate; some run to 13 weeks.
Based on what you are saying, I am pleased to be corrected . Certainly merits the wait.

yeah, so that's a total of 15% off if you buy 5 pcs from the outlet
