one kind of music that i love is folk, from any country or region.

i heard one on Galaxie's "world music" recently that overwhelmed me and i urge anyone who reads this and likes folk music (this one's from Columbia)to have a listen:
CD Title:Un Fuego de Sangre Pura
By:Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto.

Thanks, J. I really started getting into different types of folk music after finding a lot of interesting stuff out there on various internet radio stations.

Sure; when I was growing up, besides classical, the folk music of various Slavic peoples was played. Probably among the most colorful and appealing to other ethnic groups would be Croatian tamburica music. An excellent collection is available from sellers here for about $8.

i also know that you're not a musician, but an "inferior refinisher", so don't try to lower yourself by trying to pass for one.
