Trying to get this put together and was a little slow. That explains the next comment about house hit with an iceburg. LOL.


Here's what I'm talking about in the previous message. These FMB (full metal brackets) are good at holding speakers firmly to the wall, but it is not plumb.

There are 4 pictures here.
1) Picture of the bracket.
2) Picture of level on the computer desk to show it's level.
3) Picture of level on bracket in the "Most forward direction".
4) Picture of level on bracket one click over in an attempt to correct the problem.

Notice that there is no direct forward direction using these brackets. If I use these on all 5 speakers I'm going to mount to the wall, they would either all point to the left, or to the right. Never straight ahead.

If someone knows where I can order sturdy brackets like these that can securely hold M22's on the wall, and allow the speaker to face forward, please let me know. I'd really like to use that one screw mount method, so I don't have to drill holes in the speakers and monkey around with mounting them a different way, but I will, if that's the only other option.

These Axiom brackets are useless to me. I've noticed this for some time with the M2 mounted to the wall, but for 1 small speaker it didn't really bother me. But for all of them to face one way, or the other, now that would bother me.

I really doubt that I've got a lemon bracket. I'll bet they are all made that way.

I suppose that one other option, would be to grind off the teeth on the brackets where they meet so I'm not dependent on them for direction. But, after looking at it, that would be rather difficult.

Ok. I ordered the bottom 2 Black with black grille M22's for the changes to my wall of sound. These will replace the 2 Boston Cherry speakers on stands. Now, if I just had some brackets to mount them to the wall.

It's a hand model. They're fairly cheap since they can perform with their clothes on.

I've got all the speakers stripped off my wall, except for the lower 2 M22's and the VP160. Still sounds good, except more 1 dimensional without the upper speakers. I wanted them off so I can package them for shipping.

If anyone ever wanted to mount an M60 or M80 to a wall, this bracket would probably do it. It's much too big for what I need, The thing is 12 inches tall and sticks out from the wall by 9 inches.

I don't like this bracket. How are you going to center it on a stud and put screws in? You'd miss the stud by a mile. Also reviews say it isn't very sturdy either.

I opened the link, i thought it was a basketball hoop mount grin


Those mounts are fugly, who would put that in their home.
