Just put 'em both in a pick nick basket. That's awfully funny...in a bad way!

I'm sad to say, when i first glanced at this i though to my self... "2,500$ IS an affordable projector, what is this guy talking about????.... Then i ACTUALLY read the article, and re-read the post....... So, how long until Blu-ray is passé? LinkNo official price yet, though it is disturbing that they consider "under $25,000" to be "affordable".

Three of the new JVCs are 4K. They use some sort of upscale tech that I haven't bothered to study up on yet. Street price will be about $3500 - $8000. Reviews are not out yet, so the waiting game begins...
I'm actually thinking about going DLP this time. Mits has a new one out that sounds promising, especially for 3D fans (of which I'm not). Model #7800, with an MSRP of $3500

I'm still looking to figure out what is going to be the best 2D projector for under $2000. With all of the new models, not sure if I should wait until more reviews, or bite on a Panny AE4000U now. Not 4K, but I don't think that I will be able to wait for a 4K projector for until $2000.
