New season of "Orange is the New Black" is very good, IMO.

Watching the entire 6 seasons of Lost on blu-ray. Just finished season 2. Have yet to buy seasons 3, 5, 6. (4 was on sale for $12, so bought it first.)

I was happy with the whole season of Fargo. They took it in some interesting directions, and it was put together well. But where do they go from here?

Oh, and I watched True Detective. I liked it, but it's pretty dark, and it doesn't feel like the story is going anywhere until towards the end. But I liked the writing enough that I'm excited to see what Nic Pizzolatto has up his sleeves for future seasons. He wrote every episode, which is impressive, but that's a lot of writing. I guess he recently said that the show may not last past three seasons, which I would certainly understand. That would be a crazy amount of output to maintain, especially since each season will be self-contained, with all new characters. I think it'll be hard to top Matthew McConaughey's character in this first season, but we'll see.

What could possible be better than an episode of Archer ???

There can be only one thing......
An episode of Archer guest starring Robb Wells (Ricky in Trailer Park Boys)

He played a kinda elite Canadian terrorist fighting for a Free and Sovereign Nova Scotia.

Love Archer.

I watched The Book Thief earlier. It was decent. Geoffrey Rush is always good, and the girl has a really good face. The audio was surprising. I mean, most of the movie is fairly restrained, and then suddenly there's tons of LFE during the air raid stuff. I wasn't expecting it.

Made my parents watch The Lego Movie with me. They seemed to enjoy it.

One of my sisters-in-law was visiting from Ontario last week. She & her hubby are real HT enthusiasts & have seen almost every movie known to man but somehow missed 'Super 8', so on it went again.

Earlier I had discussed my HT gear with her & explained that my system is what I consider to be quite modest as contrasted to many out there.

Well after watching 'Super 8' at -10 Db, she did not agree that my system was at all 'modest'. In many ways, I consider the soundtrack in this movie on my system to be superior to the 'War of the Worlds' - extremely dynamic with pleasing fright factor & many house shaking passages...

Dear Mr. Watterson

Not a bad look at my favorite comic strip of all-time, Calvin and Hobbes. Makes me want to read through them all again. I linked to the official website, but it's on Netflix, so no need to purchase it if you have a Netflix account.
