I wasn't impressed until I watched the video. Unlike an object that is typically suspended in a magnetic field, the object can be truly be rotated freely or move around freely in the field. It is not stuck in a pole to pole alignment.

Definitely the most sci-fi like science I have seen a demo of lately.

Edit: Does this have an application in future speaker designs????

Quantom Levitation.

I was shocked and awed by that, for sure. We should give one of these setups to every soldier.

Levitating superconductor floats within a magnetic field so you don't have to (video)

What happens when you douse a superconducting urinal cake with liquid nitrogen?

First, how many beers did it take to think it was a good idea to pour liquid nitrogen on the urinal cake, and what exactly was he doing in a bar with liquid nitrogen in the first place?
