Snatch on Blu-ray. Looks and sounds very nice, and I still like the movie.

Eagle Eye on HD-DVR, from an HBO broadcast. Good movie overall, a thriller/action movie where lots of stuff gets blowed up real good. I kept wondering what it would be like for schizophrenic people with symptoms of ideas of reference to watch that movie.

Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

Haha, I thought that was a very funny movie, despite an opposite review from almost everyone else I knew. It is also the first movie where I had to admit Brad Pitt can actually act when he he has to. I don't know if his gypsy accent was accurate but it certainly was hilarious. Prior to that I disliked him probably more so because of my wife's obsession with him. heh heh.

With lunch, I just watched two guys in rubber suits fight each other above the city of Tokyo in slight slow-motion.

I'm rooting for the one called UltraMan, not the one simply referred to as "the monster" in the out-of-sync English overdubbed audio!

Tokyo. How many times will they keep rebuilding that city?

Godzilla....Rodan....Mothra....

Last night I watched The Sky Crawlers

Here’s what Blu-ray.com has to say about the quality:

The Sky Crawlers Blu-ray

And here’s how animenewsnetwork reviewed it:

Sky Crawlers

I’m still digesting it and likely fall into the “Most people won’t get it” category in the above review. However, I certainly was not “bored to tears.” Despite being very tired I always felt engaged and interested probably because I was paying extra attention to make sure I didn’t missing some clue as to what was going on.

Also not many are calling this action not even close it’s a drama. The action is short and sweat probably like real dogfights.

Dean, that sounds like a very engaging film. I'll have to check it out.
