I've bought many things on Amazon the past few years without a hassle. I think the most expensive thing I bought though was a UPS for my computer for $200. Most of the rest are mostly movies. No experience getting a bad item, so far. I bought all the other parts from newegg.com, except for the monitor.
I did return a cheap receiver I bought from newegg without a problem. It was within the first week or 2.

It needs to be more exciting, challenging, consequential; like adding dble. serrated edges.

It looks like the new 2012 model GT50 Panasonic plasma is going to be better than 2011's top of the line VT50 model was. The GT50 will inherit the 2011 VT50's filter for blacks. The new VT50 gets an upgrade. Both will go from 600hz to 2500hz refresh rates. The GT50 will come in a 50 inch. VT50 starts at 55 inch. Link to article. Link to short launch video.

I remember reading that one. It's about the bad delivery guy. I would call it entertaining, not sure about enlightening.

Enlightening pertaining to amazons return/reject policy... I did not know that amazon had such a generous return/replacement policy.

Long wait for the new Panasonic plasma TV's. It looks like they will be available to purchase sometime the end of March. So far, from what I can determine, the top 2 line ups will be (given smallest sizes):
TC-P55VT50 MSRP $2499.99, actual price about $1999.99.
TC-P50GT50 MSRP $1999.99, actual price about $1499.99-1799.99
I'm waiting for the TC-P50GT50 model. I'm hoping the refresh rate from 600 to 2500hz will be a noticeable improvement.

I don't know how accurate my info is. I'm currently reading through the thread on avsforum.com LinkyAccording to it: The new plasma panels are 1.5 times brighter than before. They jumped from 30 series to 50 series because the number 4 is bad luck in Japan.
