I've had my VP150 on CL for sale and finally got an inquire. Check out the response I got.
"Thanks for your reply.I want to ask you some questions....
1)Why are you selling ?
2)What's the present condition ?
3)Are you the first owner?
4)Pictures available?
5)Your asking price?
I want you to know that i am satisfied with the conditions of the
Item.I will be paying through (Certified check or money order ) to you
first thing tomorrow morning.And I'd like to inform you that an excess
amount will be added to the payment which will be sent out to
you,Which will be for the mover and the pick up of the item.Can i
entrust you that you will forward the remaining funds to the pick up
agent.I will be expecting your payment information.
Regards"

100% scam...this one in particular is one of the oldest scams in the book...

Rick, that is a scam that I've had for myself when selling items. Like you, they probably didn't care for my reply.

I never have any payment problems with Craig's list. I demand cash, in full, the minute I show up at their hotel room.
Always call the place you live a house. When you're old, everyone else will call it a home.
