Okay everyone, you’ve had time to get your best names ready for the Axiom Amps, I know it! As suggested by Ken in our last contest, this time around it’s a limit of three entries per person. (And since we’re all fine upstanding Axiomoes, we understand that that doesn’t mean create 27 new accounts on the Axiom Message Boards to get all your names entered!) Please take a minute to look over the amplifier pages to get a sense of the product, and then hit us with your best shot! The 1000 The 1250 The 1500 The prize will be your choice of one pair of M3 Algonquin Outdoor Speakers, one pair of M3 Bookshelf Speakers, or Axiom Bucks in the amount of $368; whichever you prefer. The Axiom Opus Series- Opus 1000, Opus 1250, etc. This one is Golden.
The Axiom Suite Series- Suite 1000, Suite 1250, etc. The double-Double entendre of this one makes it both Pithy AND Brilliant!
The Axiom Progression Series- Progression 1000, Progression 1250, etc. This one is a Jewel of an entry.

Axiom's new F1000, F1250, and F1500 amplifiers deliver the force you need to make your music and movies come alive.
You can add -# afterwards for the number of channels. Quicker to type and read "F1500-3" instead of "F1500 three channel."

First entry: The RAmp Series: R1000 R1250 R1500 This name is a play on words, using the following definition of 'ramp': ramp: to increase, especially quickly or at a constant rate ---------------- Second entry: The Foundation SeriesF1000 F1250 F1500 foundation: 1 a body on which other parts rest or are overlaid; 2 an underlying basis or principle for something EDIT: Hmmm, seems avjunkee snagged my letter!

I doubt that high tech terms are enjoyable nor understandable for the average person. ("Just push the octopus button on the Spongebob amp, son"). This lineup of Class-D amplifiers aren't really geared towards the average audio/home theatre enthusiast. At the price points it is more reaching the high end market of power amplification.

I keep coming back to the theme of flexibility. I really like the name Digiflex, or DigiFlex, to summarize how it's a digital amp with the flexibility to send more or less power as needed for the situation/set-up. I see that Digiflex is a name brand of cables, though (in Canada, no less). Maybe you can strike a kind of deal with them, pointing out that there's also Digiflex cameras, flex fuel converters, ink jet printing systems, digital servo drives, and hand exercisers, just on the first page of Google results for "Digiflex". So, just in case: DigiFlex 1000 amplifier DigiFlex 1250 amplifier DigiFlex 1500 amplifier

For my last entry it is a combination of the first two but adding its efficiency rating which I think is such a selling point.
CD90/PWM90-1000/1250/1500
The most efficient and powerful amplifier in home audio.
I have to say though Pulse Width/Wave Modulator and Linear Field Radiating in the same sentence is so badass.

I know Ben already mentioned PA, but not everyone will know that it doesn't stand for "Power Amp" but for "Pine Acre".
I've always thought "Muskoka" is powerful and meaningful.

My vote goes to Spongebob Squareamps. I've always wanted a squid button on my amp. The Eh series is a close second, and a nod goes to ampagedon as, that is surely what happens to your system when you turn these amps to 11.

Da-Beast It was mentioned that the specs were being kept a bit conservative until production-scale qualification was finished. If the 1500-series per-module power output could be tweaked from 325/650 to 333/666 watts per channel you might be onto something.

My only entry,
I like things named after their designer/engineer. So, AW for that. I noticed that the power levels on 5 channels went from 625W to 1225W to 1660W. Kind of a log scale, which you would expect from an amp. So, to keep it simple...

I have four names that I'd like to throw into the hat.
1. Evidence
2. Premise
3. Reason
4. Truth (though I believe Behringer use this for a speaker line)
If I were to choose one, I'd submit "Evidence".
An axiom is a premise so evident that it is accepted as true, without controversy.
The proof, as they say, is in the pudding. Evidence, in this case, being the proof.
Besides, Axiom Evidence just rolls off the tongue nicely doesn't it?
Full disclosure - I won the outdoor M3 naming contest. I hope this does not disqualify me from this contest!

Yeah, Blame it on a woman. A mutual friend who I used to work with in hawaii introduced us and one of us had to move if there was ever going to be anything. As it happens now SHE wants to go to hawaii and move away from Maine for a while to try something different. We'll see!
