Brian, that Dirt Devil may appear similar, but the most significant difference is that despite the description claiming a "motorized" brush, that isn't really the case. The brush can "revolve" as a result of the vacuum effect, but it's not directly driven by a separate motor, as is the Eureka model. As a result when it meets significant resistance(e.g., a carpet or sofa)it stops revolving. The actual powered brush is significantly better at picking up cat hair, etc., as Bob cautioned in his earlier reply.
