Joyce! I'm off to Stop & Shop. I'll be gone a bit longer than usual.

Over the phone, they said it'd probably take around $100-$200 to fix the subwoofer pre-out jack connection problem.

Or, I could just hold it off to the side with a friction fit. Hmmmm.

I would bet all they're going to do is solder in another RCA jack.. Cost about 2 bucks.... i would just use friction tape if you are not adept at soldering....

Soldering doesn't bother me too much, but the problem is the RCA jacks are on the bottom side of the board where you can't get to them. The board is soldered to other boards that run at 45 degrees to this board. Not a task to be taken lightly. There's probably a way to pop the whole thing out, but if there is, it's not apparent as to how to do that. Plus, lots of pins and plugs and wires to remember where they go.

Mark,
I am sick of the forum spiraling ever downward with degrading content. Your list is disgusting.

I thought the same thing, but didn't say anything. If the beer was made in the USA, spit it out and get some real beer. Something made in Mexico, or Germany maybe.

My speakers not getting much love here in auction site frown

I've got them listed on Craigs List now, until I can figure out how e-bay works, again.

I now buy exclusively Valspar paint for trim. Goes on really well with a brush and the brush lines virtually disappear. I usually use semi gloss for trim since it cleans up so easily.

Yeah, That was to P.O. the beer guys. I was gonna say it was my WalMart list to give an extra jab to Tom, but I figured the beer would disgust him enough. smile

Hey Cat,

could you solder on the RCA pin to make a tight fit? might be worth a try! you can always file some off.
