That is SO odd... Did you call them up and talk to them about it? It seems so unlike them for service since people RAVE about how wonderful the Axiom service is.
I would be frustrated too.

That's frustrating. Most of us have good experience with Axiom support, but sometimes stuff happens I guess.... I would call them, perhaps suggest a complete speaker swap out instead of messing around with parts replacements?

no, it's not typical of customer service with axiom. everyone makes mistakes. having said that, rather than write this post you should have contacted axiom via telephone (email, but phone is better) and talk with them. then after dealing with them you should have created this thread about how it's being handled.
i have had to send back a vp180v3 speaker (they sent me the wrong one) and a woofer from a m2v3. dealt with them over the phone, they had the speaker to me in 2 days and the woofer to me in 3.
commented on this in a thread after dealing with them. so, you should call them (you didnt' mention that you did so we are gathering that you didn't) and see what they have to say. if you did already call them (not mentioning it in your post) let us know how that went.
i have never had a problem with customer service from axiom, ever.
please keep us posted.

For what it's worth... My experience with support has been very good. A while back I had an issue with my EP500 sub (I had it for a few months), they sent me a replacement within a week. Problem solved. Recently I contacted them regarding a pretty big upgrade, Brent worked out an awesome deal for me.

When i received my M80's, one mid range did not work, it made a scratching noise when pushing the cone. 3 days later the new one was at my door.

Just luck of the draw man. I live in the yukon and they get stuff to me in 2 days. Not sure why those drivers are like that. I bought a few from them for a project and they were the same as all the others. Also , the foam surround is just a gasket so thats no biggy and as for the terminal i could easily work with that and not have said a thing.

I did contact them first. Still waiting. I don't think it's wrong to post my experience on this forum. If they make things right, I'll post what they did. Fair enough?

OK. They called while I was gone. They thought the speaker might have a crossover problem, so I did the 9V battery test. Yep, woofer's a just bad. Going to get an adapter in the mail from them. Sounds like pretty quickly. So far, so good.
You have to understand, it's just kind of a string of minor disappointments I've had. Really not upset, just disappointed.
- Woofer deformed a bit on my M80's - Woofers went kaput (both of them) on my VP180 - Shipping slower than I was told - Foam ring broken - Terminals wrong fit
Plus, I'm spoiled from using Amazon Prime too much. Everything comes so darn quickly with them (free 2-day).
I do love my Axiom speakers, though!

It can be frustrating.
Let me be the first for saying "Thank you" to you. Yes, THANK YOU!
You are getting all of the Murphy's Law, "exceptions to the rule", and just plain bad luck so that the rest of us (knock on wood) can continue to have our good experiences.
Oh, and don't forget, these are shipping from another country, so customs is involved. Amazon can't do 2 day shipping through customs. You just never know when the government is going to "sit" on a package or not.

I get it. but thats life. I dropped 600.00 on a phono preamp and it hasn't worked right from day one. Will cost me in excess of $100 to send it back. And the worst is they could send it back and it may or may not be fixed then what.So hey we all go through stuff like this.
A man once told me -- cheer up things could be worse I cheered up and they were.

Well, I got my wire adapters they overnighted to me. But, they only sent me 2 instead of the 4 I need since I got a double woofer replacement. Here we go again...

VoicOfReason,
You only require the two adaptors. We changed our negative terminals from 110 to 250. The positive terminal remains the same at 205. The adaptor converts the 110 female connector on the end of the negative wire coming from your crossover to a 250 female connector. I hope this helps.

Yea, I was going to say the same thing that I would have anticipated only needing 2 adapters, but then again, the woofers aren't sitting in front of me...
