Ok,
now that the M60 have the perfect fit with the VP160 and the M80's have the VP180. What is the perfect mate for the M22's.
or will they be making a new VP122 wink

I have a VP150 paired with my M22s. It has the same drivers, and sounds good enough. But if I had the space I'd have another M22.

I'd be more concerned with "quality" rather than "matching".

The VP100 has the same driver complement in a sealed cabinet, but I don't think many would suggest that you should get a VP100 if you can afford the cost and space of a VP150, 160 or 180.

Like Chris and Murph said, if you really want to "match", another M22 is the ultimate.

I found that the VP150 sounded better with my M22's than the VP100 did. I currently have M22's and a VP160, which I like even better. A full sized VP100 might have made the difference though, I was using an in/on wall model.

Like I said ^^^^ an M22 upright is not an option. And for the exact same reasons the VP160 and 180 was designed and developed for the M60/80's I want to know which is the best fit for the M22.
Vp100 is not going to happen, like I said in another post the room is 13.5 x 18.5 x 7.5.
I just want a perfect blend from left to right. I like the bookshelf speakers for home theatre, moreso than floorstanding, so not quite fond of going the M60 route. If I need to I might consider the new K-Kreisel system.
M60's will happen upstairs for music.

I just want a match like the M60/VP160 or M80/VP180's are. Also, not really fond of buying alot of centres to try them out to send half back.

VP150 has received a lot of flak in some forums in the past year, but this spring my wife and I went to the Axiom factory and A/B compared the 150 and the 160 in their listening room - blind test.
As it turned out the speaker we both preferred turned out to be the 150. So that's what's in my basement now.
In the shop it was paired with M60s and QS8s.
Much of the negativity has focussed on off-axis performance, but in a relatively narrow room, that can't be an issue; I just can't get that far off-axis.
Why not email Axiom? Brent originally suggested the VP150 for me, and after listening to both, I guess he was right.

Stilljoe, what is the size of your room? I'm currently deciding on a setup with M22s and either a VP150 or VP160.
