I'm a bit behind but ordered the last of the Twilight series (wife favorite), Skyfall and The Grey.

The Grey was brutal. Wolves hunting people? I hope it made for a better fictional book.

Skyfall had its ups and downs. Awesome villain casting. Kind of thin for expectations on Bond gadgets and plot had holes. Felt like they were trying a different tact on a Bond film.

Haven't seen the last Twilight yet.

Changeling (2008)

Very good movie! It's funny, I was expecting it to be a movie about some changeling creature. Not that at all.

Zero Dark Thirty

I thought they did a good job. The cast is full of familiar faces. I wasn't expecting to see some of them. The audio is terrific. Sometimes I forget how great my system can sound, and then I'm reminded.

Red Dawn - pretty weak but really good sound. More ordinance expended than WWII.

I felt no empathy for the characters whatsoever...

Skyfall.
Tweaking this morning helped some.
This movie didn't agree.
Most everything else has more depth.
Should have left the subs alone though.

Keeping in mind I was alone with my 3 kids this weekend, we watched the latest Muppet Movie with Jason Segel and Amy Adams. Honestly though, I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the muppets in the 80's. It was actually pretty funny - lots of jokes for the adults that sailed right over the kids heads - and the audio was one of the best I've heard in quite a while. Very clear and great bass heft to it - very well done. Plus the songs were just fun - e.g. Gonzo's chickens did Celo Green. laugh I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Cheers all,

Dan, I was pleasantly surprised by that movie, too. I'm not a Jason Siegel fan, but I thought it was a nice little movie.

I've been enjoying the new series "The Americans" and "The Following".
